How can I clean my car window from sticker-like damage?

Okay someone put party flyers on my windshield (front) using my window wipers to secure the party flyers. Somehow they got stuck to the window (I assume it was moisture and rain). I tried to peal it off and it left a sticker-like damage on my window. I tried removing the flyer but half of it is stuck on my window.

I'd carefully scrap it with a razor blade, then clean with ammonia based cleaner (like windex)
