What is a safe soldering kit for kids?

Y'know. Something without mercury.

I wouldn't know about soldering kits, but I think the kit itself is not the important part of the safety equation. If the kids are old enough to be careful, not silly, are wearing appropriate safety gear and are properly supervised, they should be just fine. We did some soldering on a guide camp when we were kids and there was no accidents. You needn't worry about mercury, they won't be eating it or sticking their fingers in it.
