I really hate the way the rings look but I want to get my navel pierced. I just want a barbell. Would it be a bad idea to be pierced with one? If so, why? My friends got their bellies done and the piercer told them that he does not use barbells to start with. Why is this?
No, actually using CBR's are bad for navel piercings, they get caught much more, what he should be using is a spiral barbell, the reason is it is much easier to move, and is easier to get the sea salt solution for aftercare into the piercing
