There is about 5 feet of the building and is about 40 feet long by 20 feet wide by 20 feet high.
When you load additional the finished ground level near a foundation, it is usually called load surcharge. Although the foundation was not likely designed with an extra load of snow this size, it was likely designed to manage car parking should be. Should be more analysis to see what weighed between snow and cars ... possibly snow. The density of a typical design of the snow in Colorado is close to 18 lb / cubic foot. Old snow assuming that the bank was created from the snow off the parking lot, can be considerably heavier. Suppose £ 30 / cubic feet x 20 feet deep = 600 PSF. This could be a large enough load to its maximum depth. The good news is that the snow bank is about 5 feet of the building. Farthest from the building, the less charge will side-loading of the foundation wall. The supplement will support a lateral (side) pressure on the foundation wall. It will be more important (about) if there is a basement below the building height. If there is no basement or empty health below ground, so I think you have very little to be concerned with regard to the weight of snow. On the other hand, if the foundation is built on a clay soil which is subject to swell when wet, melt-off water could affect (possibly crack or maybe just lift) the foundation unless the foundation drainage system was installed properly. So a better answer depends on soil type, the type of foundation, if a basement or not, how much pressure the ground was the original design intended to handle, etc. If you need a more precise answer, please email me directly with more information on the situation.
