Paint Set

I put fabric paint on a cotton t-shirt and the instructions say to heat set the paint after it dries by ironing on the back for 30 seconds. I don't have an iron though, does anyone know a way I can do this? And will the paint wash off if I don't?
You could heat a flat metal object, such as a cookie sheet or a frying pan, in the oven. Then you have something that should serve the purpose of an iron for the 30 seconds you need.
As the first answer suggested, you could always buy an iron. The basic models are under $20.00.
