In July my family and I are going to Disney World and Disney Cruise. We will stay in Polynesian Resort for 5 nights, then going on the Disney Wonder 4 nights. We do not know much so any tips or advice on our resort, theme parks, or the cruise would be helpful.
Make a plan for each park to ensure that you do not miss one of the best attractions. www.touringplans.com gives all kinds of suggestions and itineraries for one-year membership is $ 8. There are charts that list of attractions in each park, and the best time / Worse to see them. These maps were very helpful during our visit in November. We did not follow the routes too closely, but they gave us many excellent ideas and we do not have to spend too much time waiting on the line. If you find the Disney meal plan, make sure make your dining reservations early. It is difficult to get anything at the last minute and you do not want to "waste" your meal. www.allears.net has menus for all restaurants, which is very useful. I highly recommend the "Unofficial guide to Disney World" by Bob Sehlinger. It is excellent and impartial. The Polynesian is beautiful, enjoy the right to be on the monorail when you go to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. It will be easy to catch a shuttle bus Animal Kingdom and MGM.
